Soccer Matters with Glenn Davis on Fox Sports Houston re-airs today at 12:00 noon
Guests include Dynamo midfielder Francisco Navas Cobo, yes that Cobo.
His uncle, Juan Cobo played in the CISL with the Houston Hotshots.
I also break down the complete nature of Wayne Rooney of Manchester United and why his multiple qualities make him virtually unstoppable at the moment.
Also, on the show we talk high school soccer with Bill McD

Hats off to Lori Stutt and all her many helpers for the fantastic job with the Kickoff Luncheon on Tuesday. Dom stole the humor portion of the show from Matt Musil. Great to hear the players speak about the charities they support. My father was a 30 year Army veteran, made it to Full Bird - so a special thanks to Brad Davis for his support of our military men and women.
All, please come out to these events and support the Dynamo, Dynamo Charities and ultimately the kids from th

There are some website issues we won't get into here, so you may not know it from the front of HD.com at the moment, but the Dynamo and Earthquakes played to a scoreless tie last night at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco. Notable in the Houston lineup was Adrian Serioux playing defensive midfield, Richard Mulrooney playing the entire second half at defensive midfield, and Andrew Hainault making his first appearance since February 6 (and at center back, no less).
The Dynamo will train in n…

Fanaticos,
I am doing my best to try to keep you updated on the airing of Soccer Matters with Glenn Davis on Fox Sports Houston. It is significant soccer programming in my mind because of it's local nature, Dynamo coverage and interviews and how the program links all the levels of football together.
The other area of importance is that it is positioned on Fox Sports Houston next to the likes of the Rockets, Astros and Texans.
The show is currently airing on Comcast and

I hope you get a chance to catch Soccer Matters with Glenn Davis on Fox Sports Houston today at 4pm.
The show airs on Comcast and ATT UVerse cable systems.
A great catch of an interview on this show is former Dutch National team goalkeeper Jan van Beveran who was a part of the great Dutch squads of the 70's that included Johan Cruyff, Johan Neeskens, Wim Surbier (former Houston Dynamos) and Ruud Krol.
Some interesting insight from van Beveran who did not think much of t

We had a great time at tonight's scrimmage at Sorrels Field thanks to our gracious hosts from Houston Baptist University. Thanks to everybody who came out! The game finished in a 1-1 tie, and here's the recap:
The Houston Dynamo and Chicago Fire played to a 1-1
scrimmage tie Thursday night before an overflow crowd at Sorrels Field on the campus of Houston Baptist University. Cam Weaver scored the Dynamo goal from a Luis Angel Landín assist, while Pat Onstad saved a penalt…

Games like tonight against Chicago (7pm Houston Baptist University) can go a long way towards a player earning a contract. Which leads me to central midfield player Lovel Palmer from Jamaica who needs to make an impact to secure a contract with the Dynamo.
Palmer seem restrained and a bit in fear of making a mistake against Austin this past Sunday so one hopes those shackles come off of him tonight against Chicago.
Geoff Cameron continues to work on playing as an attacking midfiel
