As part of the festivities for Saturday's Dynamo Charities Cup, the Dynamo are hosting a pregame crawfish boil in Amigo Energy SoccerFest on the Cullen Blvd. side of the stadium. All proceeds will go to Dynamo Charities and to the beneficiary of the Dynamo Charities Cup, the Horizon Relief Corporation, which is working with those affected by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Here's what you need to know for the crawfish boil:

There's no sugarcoating that it's been a rough week. The Dynamo have lost three consecutive MLS games for the first time since 2007, and the four goals allowed Saturday night are the most Houston has ever surrendered in MLS play.
That makes the next three weeks extra important as the Dynamo try to rest, retool, and refocus for the final 17 games of the MLS season, the Open Cup, and SuperLiga. A friendly on Thursday and the Dynamo Charities Cup on June 19 will allow time to see some diff… Continue
Tonight's game certainly was exciting, but ultimately not in a way Dynamo fans appreciated. Check out today's recap and notes, but Brian Ching really summed it up best:
“They were a better team over the course of the game. Tonight Dom said that was the case. It’s frustrat… Continue
After USA-Turkey this afternoon, Houston fans' eyes will turn to Robertson for the Dynamo hosting Philadelphia at 7:30 p.m. tonight. Five forwards - a luxury! - will be available for Dominic Kinnear as the Dynamo look to make it back-to-back wins for the first time all season. Don't forget, the first 5,000 fans get an awesome bracket for this summer's soccer action, courtesy of Continental Airlines.
From HoustonDynamo.com, David Nuno has more on the search for consistency ...… Continue

We didn't get to post anything last night, with everything going on at Robertson Stadium for the Dynamo Academy match. A great crowd stayed to watch, including John Spencer, and the Academy coaching staff was very pleased with the performance in the… Continue
Well, we don't recommend digesting that on an empty stomach. After getting an early goal on Saturday, the Dynamo conceded an early goal on Thursday and never recovered, falling 3-1 on the road to Real Salt Lake.
It's back to Houston tomorrow for the team and some much-needed training/rest time is on the horizon after the stretch of four games in 13 days is over. Of course, May 22 will mark the beginning of a stretch of four games in 15 days, but who's counting?
As you can see, it is a gorgeous night and a gorgeous setting for soccer here at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. It is on the cool side - temperatures in the 50s will surely dip during the game - and there is some precipitation visible over some of the nearby peaks. Hopefully it'll stay away and give us a nice… Continue

Nothing like early goals and a road win to turn things around. Some lineup changes made for an interesting night, and the result pushes Houston up into second place alone, trailing only the red-hot LA Galaxy. Good news all around.
Of course, it's back at it this week, with a quick turnaround and a road game at Real Salt Lake Thursday night. Then, and only then, will the Dynamo get a bit of a break, with nine days before playing D.C. United back at home on May 22.
The Dynamo were back at the Rice Track/Soccer Stadium training today in preparation for Wednesday night's game with FC Dallas. As you might imagine, spirits were high after Saturday's 3-0 win. We've got two videos from HoustonDynamo.com to share, one with Luis Landín:
and one with Ghanaian countrymen Dominic Oduro and Sammy Appiah:
Winning is fun :-) The Dynamo rolled to a 3-0 win Saturday night over the Kansas City Wizards at Robertson Stadium. There's plenty of coverage in progress and still to come at HoustonDynamo.com. Be sure to check out the game recap, postgame notes, and stay tuned for a photo gallery. Match highlights: … Continue
Greetings from Chicago. The Dynamo are on their way after a last training session at Robertson Stadium this morning, getting ready for Saturday night's game against Chicago.
While the guys are in the air, we've got an update on a few things. First of all, we now have video on our website! Amazing, we know. We'll have more content in the coming weeks, obviously, but for now, we recommend this… Continue

Check out this link to vote for MLS Goal of the Week. Lovel is currently trailing Jordan Harvey of Philadelphia, and I think we all know Lovel's goal deserves to win. So vote! And tell your friends!
If you're living under a rock and haven't seen Lovel's goal ... take a look:
Awesome. The Dynamo scored some great goals Saturday and posted their first clean sheet of the season in taking down Chivas USA 3-0 and getting off to the best start in club history. PLUS Dynamo Academy product Francisco Navas Cobo made his professional debut. Quite a day.
Well, we've been waiting for this one for about five months, and finally it's arrived - gameday for the rematch with the LA Galaxy at Robertson Stadium, tonight at 7:30.
There's plenty out there about the match, and we'll link to it in a second. First, we want to remind you about… Continue
Whew. Always great to get three points, especially against the defending MLS Cup champion in the home opener. Our thoughts are with Brian Ching, and we'll keep you posted as soon as we can share any specifics about his hamstring injury.
Let me preface this by saying I don't think the Dynamo are done yet. They can still possibly squeak in like NY did several years ago and Real Salt Lake last year. (I think that's right). I'm exited about that underdog role.
I just don't get why Odu…
We do have a 1st round pick (for the first time in awhile) and I hope we utilize it more than we have in years past.
I have to believe that we'll be reshaping a roster this offseason dramatically and it seems quite clear that the Dynamo are done fo…
Oduro to Dynamo for 2 draft picks (2010 & 2011).
Serioux to Dynamo for a third round 2011 MLS SuperDraft pick.
Houston should do some late trades to get some 2011 SuperDraft picks.
I think it was very evident by the starting lineup this past Sunday that Dom and the guys have thrown in the towel. I can't remember if we actually have draft picks this year or if we traded them away. If we do have them, its time to finally get mul…
