Happy birthday, Pat Onstad!
OK, OK, we just barely made it. Happy birthday, Pat Onstad! We cut this one a little close due to some technical difficulties in Philadelphia, but as you all know, never give Pat Onstad any reason to be mad at you, so we have to send him a birthday shout-out. Hey, it's still his birthday back in Houston.Pat, of course, turned 42 on Wednesday, which is amazing considering he is still the best goalkeeper in the league, sporting the league's lowest all-time goals against average and 2009 Save of the Year, the first of its kind. (It was actually two saves, but we digress.)
Describing Pat's four-year run in Houston requires more superlatives than we're capable of at this hour, but suffice it to say, there are two MLS Cup trophies in our office, and neither could have been won without him.

Great time last night at the All Star v Man U game. Excellent atmosphere and venue. Had a great time. Man U was classic and the All Stars (in the first half anyway) looked like it was an exhibition.

Agreed that the midfield needs strengthening up and Cameron being out is huge right now. I have said this before. I think the Dynamo can't even get an exhibition game with a european team. We are destined to play Pachuca for the foreseeable future.…
Really the only thing we can talk about is defense. Defense keeps us from losing games. I do believe we can live with constant ties, but we can't afford anymore loses for the rest of the season.
