The Dynamo open preseason training this morning at Carl Lewis Track & Field Complex over at the University of Houston. For once, they'll have a full two-month preseason to prepare for the start of the MLS campaign on March 27 at intrastate rival FC Dallas.
Who we expect: Pat Onstad (minor back injury forced him to withdraw from Canada camp); Brad Davis (back from U.S. camp); Francisco Navas (Dynamo Academy trialist); Samuel Appiah (draft); Kevin Harmse (will be limited in recovery from knee surgery); David Walker (draft)
Who we don't expect just yet: Andrew Hainault (represented Canada last night in 1-0 loss to Jamaica); Geoff Cameron (short break following U.S. camp); Euan Holden (Europe)
It's cold and windy, of course, but it'll be good to see the orange back on the field. And remember, it's only four days until the first scrimmage, Saturday morning against HBU!
